Meet Dr. Brian O'Leary

In my practice, my staff and I truly enjoy working in orthodontics. We go the extra mile to make our patients feel right at home and have a great time at every visit. Braces can be fun and rewarding, and I want my patients to have a positive orthodontic experience that results in a beautiful, lasting smile!

Education and Continuing Education

Before I became an orthodontist, I grew up in Irmo and graduated from Irmo High School. I then attended Virginia Tech, where I earned my Bachelor of Science Degree in Industrial Engineering. Afterwards, I went to the Medical University of South Carolina for my Doctorate of Dental Medicine. Finally, I completed my MS in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics at West Virginia University.

Although my formal education is complete, I am always looking for more effective and efficient orthodontic methods to incorporate into our practice. As a part of my continuing education, I regularly attend courses and seminars in order to keep up with all of the current techniques and technology.

Professional Dedication

I have been practicing orthodontics since 1997, but first began working in an orthodontic office before attending dental school in 1992! I love my job because it is the perfect combination of art and science that results in healthier, happier people! I have always enjoyed working with patients who are motivated to improve their health and self-esteem, and love getting to know the people I serve throughout their treatments.

In my practice, we add staff members based on their personality, work ethic, and skill level. I am constantly working to improve my craft and to make the orthodontic experience a truly memorable one for each patient. Our staff members are like family, and our comfort with each other helps put our patients at ease, which is the most important thing.

Family Life

I love serving the people of my hometown, and am proud to have my practice here in our community. I have three wonderful children named Lilly-Margaret, Eleanor, and Bradley. When I am not in the office, I enjoy cycling, playing golf, playing guitar or piano, and of course, spending time with my family!
